Condition
Condition can vary greatly between garments. The items we sell have a past and so are not always in perfect condition. We try to feature items of the best quality and condition that we can but here's the dilemma. Do we pass up a fantastic piece with a small flaw? Or, do we list the piece, with the flaw and let you decide? We're opting to let you be the judge. Some pieces we just can't pass up thinking you'd rather see them than not. In the end it's you who will make the final purchase decision. So, that having been said, we will list in the 'condition' section of each item, any flaws that we uncover. Many of our items are in mint condition and are barely worn; some have never been worn at all. We'll simply point out the distinguishing characteristics and leave the choice in your capable hands. Enjoy the hunt, treasure the catch!
We use the following condition ratings and post these ratings on each listing.

Mint - No flaws, the item has barely or never been worn/used.

Excellent - Barely worn showing minimal signs of wear, no visible flaws.

Very Good - The item shows expected signs of wear; perhaps a slight even fading or weakening of the fabric from washing or minimal scratches on the hardware of a purse, or possibly a pinhole in the lining or elsewhere on the fabric that is visible with inspection. Any known flaws will be pointed out in the condition description of the item. These garments can and should be worn.

TLC - Tender Loving Care needed to make this item wearable or to restore it to excellent or even mint condition. An item marked TLC just needs the loving hands of a good seamstress, perhaps to mend a seam or replace the buttons because one is missing. An item in this category may include a gown in which the lace straps have weakened under the pressure of a hanger and need to be repaired, replaced or done away with altogether. These items can either be purchased for repair, or used 'as is' for display purposes, perhaps reconstruction is the solution. In any case, they are treasures in and of themselves just beckoning for another opportunity to be worn. In some cases, were it not for the one major flaw, an item in this category may other wise have been rated excellent, or even mint.
