Vintage Typewriter Fringe Necklace, Faceted Glass Clear and Onyx Beads, Industrial Machine Age

UNIQUE Hand-Made Fringe Necklace made with parts rescued from the depths of a mid-century typewriter, parts that are buried deep within the shadows, no easy task to harvest, so inventive! The machine parts with scrolling shape and pierced openings at the ends are attached with jump rings to the chain and alternate with hand-strung fringe of clear and onyx crystals for just-right sparkle and bling against the matte finish of their industrial counter-parts. And if you like the look of this necklace, just wait until you 'hear' it, like very delicate wind chimes, clear and melodic; similar to the sound made by a charm bracelet. And that is just a residual benefit to the aesthetics of this piece. Brought to you by Motive Power Jewelry, we will be so sad to see it go to the lucky girl who snaps it up.

Look for more pieces by 'Motive Power Jewelry', a jewelry designer that we will be featuring at Vintage Virtuosa because their vintage jewelry is off-the-charts unbeleivably beautiful.

Please note: This necklace is on exhibit at an art show in NY so will not be available to ship until August 6th. Status update, this necklace is sold. Good news however, there are enough typewriter parts to make another one but the beads will be different. We will post the new necklace when it is finished. Please email us if you have any questions about the new necklace or are interested in seeing it when it is finished.

Condition: Excellent.
