1950s 60s EDLEE Vintage Necklace, Runway Eyptian Revival Large Plates, Purple Cabachons
1960's Runway Three Plate Egyptian Revival Vintage Necklace signed, 'EDLEE'. The three plates graduate in size and each is set with open-back Purple Iridescent Cabachons. The triple-link gold tone chains is sturdy to accomodate the weight of the massive plates. Very cool and rare runway piece from the mid-century, we love this era!
Condition: Excellent. There is a faint line in the top cabachon that under the loop appears to be from the mold, not from a crack or a scratch. The camera has picked this up in the first image. The chain looks variegated gold-bronze with patches of silvertone, most likely due to wear.
Measurements:
The chain is 20" in length.
The 3 plates in total measure 6" long.
The bottom plate at its widest is 3 1/8" across.
