1960s Accessocraft N.Y.C. Egyptian Revival Fringed Cleopatra Collar Necklace
This vintage late 1960's signed Accessocraft of New York City necklace is Egyptian Revival in style, featuring gold plated beads, chain and "charms" that are like primitive cages for carnelian red and onyx black glass balls. A substantial and very stunning, runway statement piece.
The necklace is hallmarked "Accessocraft N.Y.C." on the round tag near the spring ring clasp. Accessocraft necklaces are being scooped up by the stylists to the stars in Hollywood and by vintage houses of couture such as the House of Lavande in Palm Beach. This rare one happens to be on their list of go-to pieces and we certainly have it on ours!
Condition: Excellent/Very Good. Some wear at the top of the fringe rods and between the beads in places where the gold finish has worn off to show darkening underneath, detectable in the photos (especially the last image).
