Vintage Huge Lion Face Brooch Pendant with Fringe Mane Emerald & Onyx Glass Stones
Exotic and rare like the animal this massive Lion Face Vintage Pin Pendant has a full woven metal Fringe Mane and Emerald Green Glass Eyes. The onyx and ice clear faceted glass beads help to define the markings and features around the face. And with solid silver tone metal whiskers, this is one cool cat. Love this unique brooch which doubles as a pendant.
Unsigned. Pendant loop at top of face for necklace.
Condition: Excellent. One of the clear stones is slightly yellowed, it is located partially underneath one of the whiskers. Any yellowing you see in the metal is more in the photography than the actual piece, a lighting issue I suspect. The pin 'needle' is slightly bent but sturdy and closes securely. The woven aspect of the brooch on the upper right side of the 'face' is less crisp than other side, not damaged, just how it's made.
Measurements:
With fringe extended, the pin measures 4 1/2" across and 4 3/4" high - very big!
