1930's Fascinator Hat Peacock Color Feather Plumes, Netting - Amazing Piece, Woodward & Lathrop
This 1930's very eye catching FASCINATOR hat is made entirely of feathers fastenend onto a small round cap. The colors are peacock blue and green and the netting is blue to match the feathers. Condition: Excellent condition for its age. The veil has some detached threads (open areas) and the base of the feathers at the center of the 'cap' has settled or dimpled into the crown. The plumes cover any imperfection and this is more of a 'structural' issue, not aesthetic but if you know your hats, you will notice this, this amazing fascinator is still very wearable and eye catching.
Measurements:
The cap measures 5" across the diameter and has two small combs to hold it in place on your head. The plumes reach to 5" high.
