French Fully Beaded Vintage Evening Bag
Hand made in France, a beautiful petite hand beaded vintage evening bag. The frame looks to be silver plate, it is lined in ivory silk satin and the beading is exquisite. Pewter bugle beads serpentine among the tiny off-white seed beads and the clasp is embellished with small round lucite beads resembling two small pearls. Absolutely lovely and sophisticated, the label proudly states that this vintage bag is 'Made In France, Hand Made'.
Condition: Excellent. Teeny tiny blemishes in the bottom on the interior, the exterior is excellent. You will also see in one of the photos at the bottom on one side a pinkish tone (about 1/4" in dimension) under the beads which could be the thread on which the beads are strung. I don't see this as a blemish but want to point it out.
Measurements: 5 1/2" wide, 5" high (body of purse not including handle), 1 1/2" deep and the handle is 5 1/4" high.
