Judith Leiber Cobalt Blue Skin Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag
This Judith Leiber Vintage Purse Shoulder Bag is embossed with a skin-like texture, the color is a foil-like cobalt blue and the gold metal frame is decorated with sprinkled donut shaped decorative pieces textured with seed-bead sized 'dots' and embedded with a variety of polished stones, one in each 'donut hole'. (I apologize for the food reference, but that seems to be the easiest way to describe the embellishments on this beautiful bag.) The frame has a unique arm-like mechanism housed in one end that when 'pulled' releases the bag to be opened for access into one main center compartment with a side zipper pouch on one side and a freely opened 'pouch' on the other. The strap is a beautiful gold chain that is pretty enough to be a necklace. Judith Leiber puts so much design into her bags that it can sometimes belie words sufficient enough to describe the beauty, craftsmanship and functionality. Just know you will be the proud owner of a masterpiece that will wear for years of enjoyment.
