1950's Don Loper Aqua Silk Evening Coat, Rose Print Shawl Collar
The rose print on this stunning Don Loper Originals Silk Evening Coat is like a water color painting done in deep hues of charcoal grey and jet black ink and highlighted in leafy green on a vibrant field of aqua. This vintage 50's coat boasts a huge shawl collar that has a unique deep 'V' shaped open split in the back. With ample fullness in the styling, this coat will fit over just about every dress in your closet. The sleeves are a little shorter than 3/4 length.
Made to be worn open, this coat has no closures. It is lined with black taffeta. The 'Don Loper Originals' label can be found in the side seam.
Condition: Very Good/Excellent. Discoloration in the lining, slight lightening around the collar and sleeves. A tiny fracture in the silk in front on the collar, can be seen in the last image.
