C. 1960's Brilliant Lemon Yellow Ribbon Tied 'Coat'
A perfect addition to any vintage wardrobe is this very cheerful lemon yellow c. 1960's ribbon tied 'coat'. With 3/4 length sleeves, I love it in the Spring and Summer over a sundress. It provides that extra layer on a cool day or evening. I can't tell you how many times I've gone out in the warmer months and not known what to put over my bear shoulders, the denim jacket is always fun and easy, and sure you can always fall back on a tight little sweater but when the occasion calls for something a bit more substantial in function and style, this my friend, is what you reach for. This coat doesn't just make the outfit, it is the outfit. It's one of those essentials that when you need it, you'll be psyched it's there. In fact, own this piece first, then go find the dress to go with it. You won't be sorry.
Condition: Excellent. Upon close examination there are very faint and tiny marks on the trim but nothing noteworthy, just from normal wear. There is one pin hole prick on the inside very bottom of the left 'cuff' which would not be noticed when worn because it is to the inside of the sleeve. The ribbon ties are in tact and this coat structurally is in perfect shape.
Measurements: Bust 38", Hips 38", Coat Length 38", Sleeve Length 19". This coat would best fit a modern size 4 individual.
