Gold Silk Gown with Glass Beading - B. Altman & Co., c. 1960's

The color of this gown is actually more like a 'blonde' gold, like a field of wheat dancing in the wind, catching every ray of light and reflecting it back to the world, ok so, that's the color. The high neck folds over at the collar bone, the bodice is fitted and without sleeves. The bead work is the most amazing and funnest part of this dress. Clear glass bugle beads wind and swirl around the waist accented with round rhinestones and tiny silver balls. Take note of the beading on each belt loop and on the sash endings as well - really beautiful. The dress zips up the back and is fully lined. The label inside reads, "B Altman & Co., Fifth Avenue, NY".

Condition: Excellent. There is one, what appears to be rust mark, on the left rear (thigh area) of the skirt that actually blends in with the color of the dress overall - see photo. Otherwise this dress is in excellent condition.
Measurements: Bust 37 1/2"-38", Waist 31"-32", Hips to 40", Length 53", Shoulder to Shoulder in back 14 1/2" (across shoulder blades).
