Somewhat of an adventurer, this seamstress traveled to many lands in her designs as evidenced with the Japanese inspired obi bow at the back of this very regal gown. The floral pattern of gold and silver metallic thread stitched atop a background of fire engine red make a bold statement of the form fitting bodice. The wide waist band resembles that of an obi with a senstaional bow and long tail extending the length of the back agains the long narrow skirt of black crepe. The dress is fully lined and hand stitched finishes complete the inside. It zips up the back to maintain a form-fitting.
