1970's-80's White Crochet Vintage Dress
Soft, light and pretty, is how this white vintage crochet dress can be described. The color of the thread used for the crochet is almost an eggshell white while the lining underneath is pure white, this adds such a necessary contrast to the design of this vintage dress as the white under-slip sets off the crochet so you can actually appreciate the stitching. With unlined short sleeves and a gently rounded neckline in front and back, it is lovely all the way around. There is a slim crochet matching 'rope' that is threaded throughout the dress below the natural waistline that works almost like a draw-string giving it a drop waist appearance, which can really be positioned anywhere you want this tie to go, simply by pulling it out and re-threading it or you can cinch in the waist with a belt of your own. I love the delicate, soft quality to this dress.
Condition: Excellent. Very Clean, no pulls in the stitching or crochet.
Measurements: I measured this dress by laying it flat and extending the tape from side to side and then doubling for the following measurements: Bust 40", Waist 42". Hips 42", Sleeve Length 13", Dress Length 42".
