Bright Pink and Lime Green Knit Dress by Marek, New York – c. 1970’s
This is a very cool dress by Marek, New York. Princess seams down the front and back create a long flowing silhouette that flatters the bodice and waist with snugness at the top, ending in an ‘A’ line at the bottom. The neckline, rounded in the back, comes around to form a deep ‘V’ in the front and is further highlighted with lime green knit trim to match the trim on the cuffs. Splashes of green and white on a vibrant pink background will announce your arrival before you’ve entered the room. The knit is carefree and looks fresh all day long. Just pull it out of the closet or from the bottom of the heap on your floor and throw it on because, like a good friend, this dress will not let you down. The dress zips up the back with a nylon zipper. The label inside reads, “Marek, New York”.

Measurements: Bust 38”, Waist 31”, Hips to 40”, Length 42”, Sleeve Length 22”. Due to the stretch of the knit, there may be a little room in these measurements.
