Graceful Cotton Serpentine Print Day Dress c. 1950s

The fabric, a fantastic taupe cotton (possibly blend) background with stitched-in rows of orange, gold and variegated serpentine is what makes this dress so special and soft to the touch. A rounded fold-down collar encircles the neckline. Five round pearl buttons run down the back of the fitted bodice. The very full skirt is fashioned with knife pleats all the way around. In cooler weather, just throw a light wrap around your shoulders and go! An extremely versatile dress to complete your wardrobe.
