Graceful Cotton Serpentine Print Day Dress – c. 1950’s

The fabric, a fantastic taupe cotton (possibly blend) background with stitched-in rows of orange, gold and variegated serpentine is what makes this dress so special and soft to the touch. A rounded fold-down collar encircles the neckline. Five round pearl buttons run down the back of the fitted bodice. The very full skirt is fashioned with knife pleats all the way around. The earthy palette and rich texture of this dress will carry you from spring straight through into fall depending upon your climate. In cooler weather, just throw a light wrap around your shoulders and go! An extremely versatile dress to complete your wardrobe.

Condition: Very Good. The fabric is worn where the original hook pulled away. A few snaps may need to be added below the last button at the rear of the dress.
