1960's Canary Yellow Chiffon Vintage Dress with Aurora Borealis Detail at Waist, Jack Bryan
Adorable canary yellow fully lined chiffon vintage cocktail dress with a knife pleated skirt, high neck and bow at waist embellished with a metal fastener that is encrusted with large aurora borealis crystals. This vintage dress is rich in color, soft to the touch and bold in design. By the designer, Jack Bryan, California, a fun dress to wear to any occasion. A Vintage Virtuosa favorite.
Note that the bow is attached to the dress with a safety pin, which is good for dry cleaning purposes and why we have elected not to sew it on. We will ship the dress with the bow unattached to avoid snagging or pulling during shipping. It is easily attached with the pin.
Condition: Excellent. There was a break in the chiffon on the skirt, actually difficult to find in the pleating, that has been professionally repaired. It is in the shape of a small stitched circle about half the size of a dime. Very faint underarm on the interfacing on one side.
Measurements: Bust 35"-36", Waist 27", Hips Free, Length 36". Size small, best on a modern size 4.
