1960's/70's Cranberry Print & Gold/Silver Lame Silk Chiffon Vintage Evening Dress, Custom Made
Gorgeous Cranberry Silk Chiffon with a Regal Print Design of Eggplant and Pumpkin further detailed with both Silver and Gold Lame, tiny Beads and Sequins and all the silver you see is actually stitching with fine silver thread, oh and the cuffs and hem, also stitched in lame, only gold this time plus embellished with tiny beads and sequins.....ok, so that is just the fabric. Now line it in bright red chiffon and a bright red under slip for a soft feel and you have one exquisite vintage gown inside and out. From The Whitney Shop in New Canaan, CT, this one was custom made and the fabric was most likely imported from some exotic land. It is beautifully made, beautiful to look at and beautiful to wear.
