1940's Slipper Satin Peplum Waist Vintage Midi Evening Dress
The shimmery champagne slipper satin makes this dress dazzle the eye. With a simple fitted bodice, cap sleeves and slightly full skirt, it is breathtaking in it's simplicity. The cummerbund waist with satin florets at the back add a perfect touch and dimension to this astonishing 1940's satin midi evening dress.
The dress is unlined and zips up the rear with a metal zipper.
Condition: Very Good. There is a tiny line like a light pencil mark at the front near the neckline on one side, it's not a pencil line its a separation in the threads. I have photographed it so you can see. A necklace may help to distract from the mark but I don't want to mislead because it is visible. In low light it would be far less noticeable. The satin in the rear of the skirt shows normal signs of wear for its age, no glaring stains but some areas that have less sheen than others. The rest of the dress is excellent condition.
