1960's Delicate Pink Vintage Dress with Matching Coat Trimmed in Eyelet and Chiffon by Alfred Werber

This matching coat and vintage dress in baby girl pink is as girly as they come. A chiffon sash is threaded through the pink eyelet at the 'drop waistline' of the dress and then is repeated around the neckline on the coat. The dress has cap sleeves and fashioned with princess seams for a long continuous look. The eyelet at the waistline is slightly lower to give the appearance of a drop waist and the chiffon sash can be tied to your measurements. Both the coat and dress are fully lined. The fabric is probably rayon, it has a beautiful slightly satin sheen and gives the appearance of raw silk.

The vintage pink matching coat is outstanding with covered buttons and pink eyelet detail around the collar. The chiffon scarf weaves through the eyelet and hangs loose down the front of the coat or can be tied at the neck. In a word, 'pretty'. In another word, 'lovely'. I'm seeing this on the mother of the bride at a garden wedding but wouldn't want to box you or the dress into just that setting.

From The Ballroom Dancer Collection.
