I have always loved knit and crocheted vintage clothing......they are beautiful works of art, flexible in the season in which they can be worn, easy to fit because of the hand stitching, will go with any shoe and accessorie you pair them, never look wrinkled or 'tired' so you always look fresh and well put together in a nano second. They travel well, simply shake them out and put them on........and go, go, go. That's my philosophy on this issue, now for the dress at hand. This one is rennaisance romance all the way with the ruffled yoke, inset neckline, tie at the waist and long flowing skirt with tiers of crocheted ruffles at the bottom. An easy purchase for a busy girl who doesn't have time to think about it, but wants to look like she did. Having borrowed from the description of the black dress in the same crocheted design, I offer one additional comment for this 'sister' dress in cream.......get married in this one, so lovely and romantic, absolutely meant for the bride and not so fussy that you can't enjoy your reception, this one will let you dance, dine and drink with your guests with not a care in the world but the care you put into the wonderful people celebrating with you on this your most special of days! We show the dress as pictured in Elle Magazine. Condition: Excellent. In two or three areas, about 1/8" in size, there is some wheat colored thread woven into the stitching. With the original tags still on, this does not appear to be worn so we think these few 'spots' are due to varying thread color, not stains.
