1950's Bombshell Strapless Cascade Fishtail Full Skirt Cinch Waist Vintage Party Dress
1950's Fun and Flirty Full Skirt with Fitted Bodice and Waist Vintage Party Dress. The velvet bodice is boned and lined with cream taffeta and embellished with cream pleated tulle that peaks up from behind the red velvet, so totally cute. The waist is narrow and finished with red velvet piping. Now, the skirt, which totally makes this dress, is fashioned with a cream taffeta lining, two layers of tulle (one mesh and the other stiffer for fullness) and over this lays the red velvet a-symmetrical skirt. Such a unique and fun dress. A Coquette Original.
The dress zips up the side with a metal zipper.
Condition: Very Good. It would benefit from a cleaning. There is an area on the skirt that appears to be from moisture, it presents as a faded line and slightly darkened area on the skirt, like a shade darker than the rest, it is on the velvet. When we lay the dress down and the light hits it directly, that is when we see it, on the dance floor, would you know....probably not. We have not attempted to clean. The velvet is in good shape sturcturally and has an even texture throughout. We still love it!
