1950's Retro Teal Velvet Strapless Bombshell Full Skirt Vintage Party Prom Dress
Totally fun 1950's boned strapless gown fashioned from a weghty cotton velvet in a deep teal color. The bodice is fitted and boned and has a cute neckline that folds over on itself. The slim waist feeds into a full skirt. The fabric, as you will see in the images, is ribbed or seamed in horizontal 'stripes' all over, from the bust to the hem which gives this vintage dress a real retro look. The matching belt has a rhinestone ecrusted buckle which adds a great contrast to the teal velvet. So totally fun and cute.
The dress is unlined and zips up the side with a metal zipper.
Condition: Very Good. Needs cleaning. Was stored in a closet for decades, there is a dusty yellowing 'line' down the skirt on the right-hand side from waist to hem probably where the elements were hitting it. The teal color is still very apparent, it just takes on a dusty tone down the side at the seam. The belt is wearable but there are cracks on the back. Price adjusted for this.
