1950's Shefl Bust Embroidered Tulle Full Skirt Bombshell Party Dress
1950's Full Skirt Fitted Waist Strapless Boned and Gathered Shelf Bust Party Dress. Embroidered light pink silk with contrasting darker pink lame threads are stitched into 'circles' and further outlined in a zig zag pattern covering the entire dress adding an almost retro look to the feminine color and silhouette, beautiful and groovy at the same time. The color is barely pink.
Boned bodice. Side metal zipper. Three layers; a taffeta underskirt, tiered tulle center skirt and embroidered tulle overskirt.

Condition: Very Good. The reason for this rating, instead of excellent is the following: We repaired the tulle where there was a tear through one of the 'circle' designs, so we reattched where the tulle was ripped, it is located on the dress in the second to the bottom row near the side seam and on close inspection, you can see our stitches. One other small repair at the waist is hidden in the folds and 'busyness' of the tulle. The embroidered threads within the design are broken in a few places which occured with normal wear. You really have to look for these imperfections, the dress is pretty amazing even when taking these into account.
