SALE 1950's Strapless Shelf Bust Velvet & Tulle Full Skirt Bombshell Party Prom Dress
1950's Full Skirt Fitted Waist Strapless Boned Scalloped Neckline Shelf Bust Vintage Party Prom Dress. The bodice is fashioned of two layers, the inner layer is boned taffeta with flounces of tulle that peak out from underneath the scalloped velvet outer layer, so unique and well made. The tulle on the full skirt is gathered up in two places where the rosettes are attached. The tulle train is attached at the right bust with two snaps and from here you can decide how to wear it, if at all. We like it wrapped around the back of the neck. An awesome dress really.
Boned Bodice. Side Metal Zipper. Three layers in the skirt, a red taffeta under skirt with two layers of tulle over the top for just-right fullness.
Condition: Excellent, there is a darkened area the size of a quarter just under the right bust and a tiny spot next to it the same color. There was a pin holding the velvet layer to the taffeta/tulle underneath right in the center at the top of the sweetheart part of the bust which when removed, left a pin hole behind. You could leave it and tack the two layers one to the other or put a brooch there. Otherwise doesn't look worn.
