Incredible Eyelet Overlay Little Black Cocktail Dress – c. 1950’s
A snug little tank top bodice with rounded neckline in front that scoops for a most flattering and feminine look in the back. The peach lining peeks out from under a beautiful open eyelet of paisley and French knots. A seam trimmed with little French knots extends in a half circle the width of the bodice just under the bust to accentuate the fullness of the bust line. The black eyelet overlay flatters the waistline, extending from the bodice in a scalloped edge extending just over the waistband. A black crepe skirt peeks out from under the lace, falling in a straight line to the hem. Back metal zipper. What a flattering dress.
Condition: The condition is excellent with a repair needed at the eye, for the hook and eye closure but this does not compromise the wearability of the dress.
Measurements: Bust 33”, Waist 26”, Hips 34”, Length 35 1/2”.
