Vintage 1950's Organza Party Dress with Atomic Macrame Trim, Full Skirt, A New Deb Frock, NY

This Vintage 1950's peach organza Party Dress by New Deb Frock has the most beautiful and amazing open weave 'macrame' detail at the neckline and skirt. The bodice features a wide set neckline with cap sleeves and double darts at the bust. The waist is cinched and fitted. The skirt is full and flouncy. Made with an underlying peach taffeta layer over which lies a pale peach sheer organza a shade or two lighter than the taffeta under-dress. The trim is made from organza 'cord' that is woven in inter-connected circles and attached all the way around the neckline and mid way down the skirt adding an atomic vibe to this lovely and delicate dress. Love, love, love this vintage dress.

The dress is not lined and zips up the side with a metal zipper.

Condition: Very Good with issues. There is light yellowing at the small of the back which is detectable in the rear view image. Also spots of yellowing in the skirt on the front side and two pin hole pricks in the skirt. We have additional images which we can email, so please ask. We included an image of the splotchy yellow area on the skirt. These issues are lost in the folds and movement of the skirt. We have not attempted to dry clean it. We love this dress despite its imperfections and hope you will too.
