1950's Beaded Sequin Chiffon Full Skirt Vintage Cocktail Dress
Oh to describe this unbelievable dress. The bodice is covered in beads and sequins and we don't mean just any kind of bead. Look at the photos. The grayish tone beads are more like small dangles you'd see on a fine chandeliere and each one hangs from a cluster of clear seed beads strung as if they're petals on a flower, very 3-D. The sequins are a very beautiful irridescent light aqua color and they pop off the pearl chiffon like water droplets in a porcelain sink. The waist is a gently pleated cummerbund design and the silk chiffon skirt (two layers) falls gently from the waist to a short and sassy flutter hem. A totally amazing and well preserved dress for the discriminating buyer.......we rarely see them THIS good.
Fully lined and zips up the rear.
Condition: Excellent with one or two tiny spots in the folds of the chiffon. We have not cleaned this and don't see these as issues as they are lost in the folds of the chiffon in the skirt.
