Vintage 1950s White Lace Eyelet Delicate Dress Shelf Bust Scoop Back
Lovely...beautiful....delicate. This vintage 1950s sheer eyelet dress has a sweetheart neckline, gathered shelf bust and cap sleeves. Look at the photos to see just how beautiful the gathers are at the bust, love this detail. From the sheer eyelet bodice, the waist is fitted allowing the full skirt, also eyelet but in a trailing stripe pattern throughout, to float over you like a cloud. This dress, picture perfect, was worn in the 1950s by the original owner for her senior portrait (which still hangs above her piano).
The dress is fully lined in a white nylon. The nylon hangs free under the eyelet skirt like an under slip.
Condition: Excellent but yellowing from age around the waist and left side of skirt. If you need pristine white, this is not your dress. I hand washed it but did not have it dry cleaned. Worn by the prior owner for her senior portrait in the 1950's, lovely!
