Vintage 1950s 60s Sky Blue Ruched Bombshell Party Dress Ethereal Floaty Full Skirt
This 1950s 60s Ethereal Bombshell Party Dress is blue like the sky and floats like a cloud. It has a ruched bodice that nips in at the waist for a very flattering fit. The neckline is wide set and dips to a slight 'V' in the front. The waist mimics the 'V' shape as it dips in the center. The skirt is fashioned of three layers; two nylon and a taffeta inner skirt. The fabric is like that of lingerie, very light and airy, I believe it is nylon.
The dress is unlined unless you consider the inner taffeta part as lining and zips up the rear with a metal zipper. It is boned in the rear.
Condition: Excellent condition. There are small 'snags' throughout the skirt. They are not holes, they are more like small places where the threads have been pulled or scratched. They can be seen so if you need perfection, this is not your dress. Also on the right side of the bodice, the ruching needs to be tacked down so the gathers stay uniformly in place. We priced accordingly.
