1940s Black Crepe Dress Rhinestone Illusion Bodice Fishtail Skirt, Size L
Lovely 1940's Black Crepe Vintage Dress has an illusion neckline with soft white chiffon underneath black woven mesh that sparkles with faceted prong-set rhinestones. The hourglass silhouette is enhanced with tailored pleating at each hip. The bodice dips to a 'V' in the rear and embellished with a little bow at the base of the 'V'. Emulating the bodice, the waistline also dips to a 'V' in the rear with pleated skirt that is slightly longer for a fishtail hemline, all very elegant.
The dress is lined with an inner skirt that has tulle at the hem for a tiny bit of fullness. It zips up the rear with a metal zipper.
And it's not tiny......love this!
Condition: Excellent. The cream chiffon at the neckline was torn in places so we replaced it with a new piece of chiffon.
