1970s Red Chiffon Hippie Chic Caftan Maxi Dress, M/L
Vintage 1970s Hippie Chic flowing bright Red Chiffon Caftan Maxi Dress. The fiery red chiffon floats down the sides of the dress in fluttery draped splendor. Cinched at the waist in front for a flattering fit, this caftan is not wide or bulky, it floats like air with the boldness found in the high saturation of color. Draped from the shoulders and again from the waist, this dress is built for the goddess in all of us. Stunning!
The inner tank style dress is made with 4 layers of chiffon. There's a complete outer caftan layer that's attached at the shoulders and also at the waist in front where it cinches in. Beautifully made.
Condition: Excellent. A few flaws to note however. On the back, one of the covered buttons is missing and there is a small tear in the chiffon where the button once was. This is the top button at the small of the back (not the button at the neck, that button is present). Easy fix on the button issue, there's a non-working button at the nape of the neck which closes with a hook and eye, that button can be moved down to replace the missing button. There are two faint runs in the chiffon at the back near the center back buttons.
