1960s Vintage Red Chiffon Illusion Lace Cocktail Dress
1960's Vintage Cocktail Dress, vibrant red with illusion lace sweetheart bodice and airy chiffon skirt, a very happy dress. The lace design is adorable with stylized flowers inside a diamond lattice pattern. The gathered skirt nips in at the waist with a matching belt that snaps closed and has a bow that can be worn in either the front or the back. The high saturation of color really makes the dress in all its adorable design elements.
The dress is lined with a sweetheart neckline in the lace. The skirt has three layers, an inner tulle for added fullness, a taffeta skirt in the middle and the chiffon overlay. It zips up the rear with a metal zipper.
Condition: Excellent. We have not dry cleaned. While measuring I saw a very small darkish spot on the skirt, it gets lost in the folds. Also a few grey marks on the hem. None of these detract from the vibrancy of the dress.
