1950s Black White Plaid Party Dress Fit and Flare, Full Skirt
1950's Party Dress in bold black and white (on the pearl side of white) Plaid Taffeta boasts a folded shawl collar with 'belt buckle' detail and fringe. The bodice is darted for fullness, the waist is fitted and the skirt is very full. Flattering fit and flare fit. The same belt detail you see at the collar is repeated in the rear at the waist. A fantastic party dress, will look amazing in photographs, both color and in black and white.
The dress is unlined and closes with a side metal zipper. We show it with a crinoline which is not included with the dress, but we wanted you to see the plaid pattern in the taffeta and the fullness of the skirt.
Condition: Excellent. Ever so slight storage yellowing on the shoulders and in the pleats near the waist, almost not worth mentioning. The dress has been dry cleaned and is totally wearable.
