1950s Lace on Chiffon Vintage Party Prom Dress, Black Lace on Pearl
Elegant lines combined with bold contrast make this Vintage 1950s Party Prom Dress something to behold visually. The dress has a fitted bodice with black lace trim and shoulder straps. The black lace extends down the plunging V back and also trims the outer-most layer of the skirt. The back of this dress is nothing short of spectacular! The skirt, as you can see, is very full, we did not use a crinoline to photograph, it's all dress. This dress, silky soft to the skin and bold to the eye, an all around perfect party or special occasion dress.
This dress is tailored beautifully. The bodice is made with two layers of pearlescent chiffon and the skirt is 3 to 4 layers and by that I mean there is a partial petticoat layer attached to the back of the skirt for fullness there while the front falls more straight down.

Condition: Excellent/Beyond Very Good. To strengthen the lace straps we backed them with matching chiffon. There are a few places in the lace that have loose or missing stitches. Yellowing around the bottom of the hem on the third (of 4) layer. I see a pin prick in the off-white chiffon on the outer layer in the rear.
