1950s Red Satin Party Prom Dress Bows Full Skirt, M/L
Red Hot Satin 1950's Vintage Party Prom Dress with amazing Huge Bows, one at the bust and one at the lower skirt. The silhouette of this dress is fit and flare with a wide set in waistband but if you look closely you will see that the 'waistband' actually extends down and becomes part of the skirt in front for a flat finish with no unwanted gathers. Victorian pleating at the hips add dimension for the full figure. The bodice scoops low in the back. The flared skirt will easily accommodate a crinoline, the one we used for the photograph is not included with the dress. A gorgeous dress in a statement color....Hot!
The dress is fully lined (the lining is stitched down all around) in a muslin cloth. The dress zips up the rear with a metal zipper.
We love Jennifer Aniston (scroll down) in her red gown at the 2013 Oscars, notice the 'Victorian Hips' detail, just like the dress we represent here.
Condition: Excellent. The bow on the lower skirt needs to be reinforced.
