Ceil Chapman Gold Silver Lamé Peacock Brocade Evening Dress Gown, Size M
Vintage Ceil Chapman Brocade Dress with Silver and Gold Lamé Peacock Feather Design. The champagne base gives warmth and softness to the glitter of the lamé. The fitted bodice has a wide scoop neckline in the front and back. The skirt, flat at the waist line for a smooth fit there, has deep pleats to accommodate fullness down the length to the hem. A wide sash cinches at the waist.
The dress is fully lined and zips up the rear with a nylon zipper. Two labels inside, 'Ceil Chapman', 'Saks Fifth Avenue'.
Condition: Very Good. I did not give this an excellent rating because there is underarm staining on the lining under both arms, not detectable from the outside, lining only. An orangeish speck on bodice 1 1/2" down from top of dress, barely scene and will likely improve with cleaning. We recommend dry cleaning.
