1950's Red Flocked Stars Tulle Party Prom Dress
The Red Flocked Stars Light up the White Tulle Sky on this 1950's Prom Dress, like no other we've seen. The gathered bust, fitted waist and miles of tulle in the skirt are all classic styling on this stunning 50's dress. The tulle shawl is detachable but when on, floats about your shoulders like a cloud.
I LOVE this dress! The tiny bright red flocked stars are a brilliant and stunning design detail, so unique, you won't see another one like this on the planet. The bodice is boned in front and back and gathered all the way around. The skirt has a taffeta underskirt and topped with two layers of tulle. The dress zips up the side with a metal zipper.
PERFECTION!
Condition: Purchased from the original owner she wore it to her own prom in the early 50's. There is slight yellowing under the arms which we have not attempted to clean.
