Vintage 1950s Blue Hourglass Fiesta Dress with White Embroidered Full Skirt
I am obsessed with this dress. Vintage 1950s Fiesta Dress, Fitted Hourglass Bodice, Navy Blue Semi-Sheer with Off-White Embroidered Floral Design. The skirt is very full and is actually eyelet embellished with the embroidery design. The strapless slip under the sheer fabric gives an illusion bodice and with the cut-away arms, an amazing silhouette for the fit girl who likes to show off her arms. Love, love this dress!
The dress, with side zip, is a bit of a challenge to put on, but once there, you will not want to take it off. It also closes at the front bodice with tiny snaps. The dress is fully lined with separate underskirt for fullness.
I photographed the dress with a crinoline (not a full one, more like a fluffy slip) which is not included with the dress.
Condition: Excellent. Slight discoloration on some of the embroidery in very small places, it gets lost in the folds and we don't see this as a compromise to the beauty of this amazing dress. The underskirt is also discolored, another imperfection we aren't concerned about.
